Last updated: September 2026

Juno Occupational Therapy (ABN 29 701 286 188) (“Juno”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information through our website, www.juno-ot.com.au (the “Website”). We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles and the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW).

If you are a client, our full Client Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal and health information when we provide occupational therapy services, including NDIS and icare NSW services. A copy is available on request.

Information we collect

When you make an enquiry or contact us through the Website, we may collect information such as, but not limited to:

  • your name, email address, DOB, phone number and address or suburb

  • any details you choose to include in your message, such as the service you need or how it is funded (for example, NDIS or icare)

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to enquiries, arrange appointments, provide our services, improve the Website and meet our legal obligations. We will not sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.

Cookies and website analytics

Our Website is hosted on Wix. Like most websites, it uses cookies (small files stored on your device) to:

  • make the Website work properly and securely (essential cookies)

  • help us understand how visitors use the Website, such as pages visited and time spent on the site (analytics cookies)

The Website also automatically collects standard log data, such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you visit and the date and time of your visit. We use this information in summary form to improve the Website, not to identify you.

You can accept, decline or manage non-essential cookies using the cookie banner on our Website or your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the Website work.

Service providers and overseas storage

We use trusted third-party providers to help run our Website and practice, such as website hosting (Wix), email and practice management software. They can only use your information to provide services to us. Some providers, including Wix, may store information outside Australia (for example, in the United States). We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect your information in line with Australian privacy law.

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

We may use AI tools to help draft and check documents, such as reports and letters. We only enter de-identified information into these tools, never your name or any details that could identify you. Your occupational therapist reviews all AI-assisted work and makes all clinical decisions. AI does not make decisions about you.

AI note-taking tools or recordings of sessions are only used with your written consent. You can ask us not to use AI tools for your documents at any time, and this will not affect your services.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children and young people

We provide services to children and young people, but our Website is intended for adults. Enquiries about a child should be made by a parent, guardian or authorised representative. If you believe a child has given us personal information through the Website without a parent or guardian’s involvement, please contact us.

Links to other websites

Our Website may link to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you. If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first and we will aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact:
