Madei Low

Madei completed a Bachelor of Applied Science – Occupational Therapy (Honours) in 2012. Since graduating, Madei has worked in a number of roles across a variety of settings which include NSW Health (acute, community and inpatient rehabilitation, jobsite settings), private practice in Canada and also in the Shoalhaven region. In these roles, Madei has worked extensively with adult clients with diverse diagnoses and disabilities such as neurological, amputees, spinal, trauma, medical/surgical, complex orthopaedics, degenerative conditions, congenital conditions, palliative care and age-related conditions.

Madei has provided a range of occupational therapy services to NDIS participants including minor and complex home modifications; simple and complex equipment prescription; seating assessments and wheelchair prescription; pressure injury prevention, education and management; functional assessments and skill retraining, functional capacity assessments and comprehensive reports of care needs; home and living assessments for SIL and SDA and Housing NSW; cognitive assessment and retraining, and manual handling assessment and reports. Madei has significant experience and success in report writing, particularly for NDIS participants and their needs, as well as to support NDIS applications for clients.

Madei has lived in the Jervis Bay area since 2020. She spends her time outside of work with her husband, three young children and two dogs. She loves mountain biking, hiking, paddleboarding, snowboarding and exploring the outdoors with her family.
